Biography

2012: Played in three games in a reserve role on the defensive line . . . Finished the season with three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist), all against Oregon.

2011:  Played in five games, including the Go-Daddy.com Bowl . . . Recorded four tackles (all solo) and 0.5 tackles for loss . . . Posted a career-high 2 tackles
against Memphis.

2010:  Redshirted and participated on the scout team . . . ASU Athletic Director's Honor Roll member.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-time all-district selection, including first team honors in 2008 and 2009 . . . Named District MVP in 2009 and also all-state selection . . . Senior campaign finished with 68 tackles and six sacks . . . As a junior, posted 63 tackles and 22 tackles for loss . . . Sophomore season recorded 49 tackles, eight sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

PERSONAL:  Born Feb. 26, 1992 . . . Son of Chermaine Owens.
